Her name was Kelpie.

She wasn't much bigger than a child's fingernail.

Her fluffy green leaves waved gently with the ocean currents, and tiny purple tips sparkled whenever the sunlight touched them.

Every morning, Kelpie stretched her little leafy back.

"Good morning, ocean!" she cheered.

Around her, colourful fish darted between the coral.

A shy octopus peeked from behind a rock.

A tiny crab marched sideways across the sand.

Everyone knew Kelpie because she was always asking questions.
