THE WILD ADVENTURE!

Ariana thought the jungle would be fun.

Melia thought it would be peaceful.

Mai thought it would be “a tiny little walk.”

They were all very wrong.

After discovering a glowing hidden map during a family camping trip, the sisters suddenly find themselves trapped deep inside the wildest jungle imaginable, where crocodiles chase people for fun, kangaroos fight back, snakes hang from trees like swinging vines, and one extremely rude chimpanzee seems determined to start karate battles with everyone.

But somehow…

The girls keep surviving.

Mostly by accident.

With teamwork, courage, and a LOT of screaming, the sisters must find their way through muddy swamps, swinging vines, runaway animals, and total jungle chaos before sunset… or risk being stuck there forever.

And honestly?

The jungle may never recover from meeting them. 🌴

Chapter One

The Map That Smelled Like Pickles

The adventure started because Mai was bored.

Very bored.

“Camping is just sitting outside with extra mosquitoes,” she complained dramatically.

Melia rolled her eyes while unpacking snacks.

Ariana was trying to build the tent properly.

Trying being the important word.

The tent currently looked like a collapsing sandwich.

Then Mai spotted something sticking out beneath an old tree root.

“A TREASURE MAP!” she screamed.

Melia nearly dropped the marshmallows.

The map was old, crinkled, and smelled strangely like pickles.

“Why does it smell like burgers?” Ariana asked.

Nobody knew.

Across the top, glowing golden words suddenly appeared:

THE WILD ADVENTURE AWAITS.

Mai gasped dramatically.

“Oh no.”

The ground beneath them suddenly glowed bright green.

WHOOSHHHH.

The girls screamed as the jungle swallowed them whole.

Chapter Two

The Kangaroo With Anger Issues

The sisters crash landed in mud.

Lots of mud.

Mai sat up slowly with leaves stuck in her hair.

“I swallowed jungle,” she whispered.

Before anyone could answer…

BOING.

BOING.

BOING.

A giant muscular kangaroo bounced out of the bushes wearing boxing gloves.

Melia blinked.

“…why is it looking at us like that?”

The kangaroo cracked its knuckles.

Mai panicked immediately.

“IT WANTS VIOLENCE!”

The kangaroo suddenly lunged forward.

Ariana screamed.

Melia screamed louder.

But Mai accidentally slipped in the mud and karate kicked the kangaroo directly into a puddle.

SPLOOSH.

The kangaroo stared at her in complete shock.

Mai froze too.

“…I did not mean to do that.”

The kangaroo slowly pointed at her angrily before bouncing away dramatically into the jungle.

Melia burst out laughing so hard she snorted.

“You beat up a kangaroo!”

Mai looked horrified.

“I’m going to jail.”

Chapter Three

Melia Versus The Crocodile

The girls eventually reached a swamp.

Unfortunately…

Something huge moved in the water.

Two glowing eyes appeared.

Then another pair.

Then another.

Melia gulped slowly.

“Those are crocodiles.”

One enormous crocodile suddenly exploded out of the swamp water.

“RUNNNNN!” Ariana screamed.

The girls bolted through the mud.

Mai tripped over literally nothing.

Again.

The crocodile snapped at Melia’s shoe.

Without thinking, Melia jumped onto its back.

The crocodile spun wildly through the swamp.

Melia held on screaming:

“WHY AM I WINNING?!”

The crocodile crashed into a tree stump.

Mud exploded everywhere.

Mai accidentally got slapped in the face by a fish.

Ariana fell over laughing.

Eventually the dizzy crocodile swam away dramatically with leaves stuck on its head.

Melia climbed off proudly.

“I am now swamp queen.”

Ariana pointed at her muddy face.

“You look like a potato.”

Chapter Four

The Monkey Karate Battle

By lunchtime the girls were exhausted.

Sweaty.

Muddy.

And slightly traumatised.

Then they found bananas hanging from a tree.

“Finally,” Ariana sighed.

“Food.”

The moment she grabbed one…

EEEEEEEEEEK.

A monkey wearing a tiny karate belt dropped from the branches above them.

The monkey slapped the banana out of Ariana’s hand.

Then pointed aggressively.

Melia blinked slowly.

“…is that monkey challenging you to a fight?”

The monkey karate kicked the air dramatically.

Mai gasped.

“It absolutely is.”

Ariana folded her arms confidently.

“I can take him.”

Five seconds later the monkey launched itself at her face.

The jungle exploded into chaos.

Bananas flew everywhere.

Mai screamed instructions nobody followed.

Melia laughed so hard she fell into a bush.

Finally Ariana accidentally spun around and karate chopped a giant hanging coconut.

BONK.

The coconut landed directly beside the monkey.

The monkey froze dramatically.

Then slowly nodded respectfully.

It handed Ariana the banana.

The girls stared in disbelief.

“Did you just earn monkey honour?” Melia asked.

Ariana looked equally confused.

“I think so.”

Chapter Five

The Hippo Of Doom

The sisters finally reached a river.

A sign beside it read:

WARNING: DO NOT ANNOY THE HIPPO.

Mai frowned.

“That feels oddly specific.”

Then bubbles appeared in the water.

Huge bubbles.

A giant hippo slowly emerged wearing a grumpy expression and extremely crossed eyes.

The girls tried not to laugh.

The hippo sneezed angrily.

Water blasted everywhere.

Melia whispered, “He looks confused.”

The hippo charged immediately.

“WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT OUT LOUD?!” Ariana yelled.

The girls ran screaming across the riverbank.

Mai grabbed a hanging vine dramatically.

Except…

It was not a vine.

It was a giant snake.

The snake looked offended.

Mai screamed louder than anyone had ever screamed before.

Accidentally, she swung the snake through the air like a rope.

WHIPPP.

The startled snake smacked the charging hippo directly on the bum.

The hippo squealed in shock and belly flopped into the river.

SPLOOOOSH.

Complete silence filled the jungle.

Then the snake slowly looked at Mai.

Mai looked back nervously.

“…thank you?”

The snake blinked once.

Then slithered away with what looked suspiciously like attitude.

Melia collapsed laughing.

Ariana wiped tears from her eyes.

Mai stood frozen.

“I just weaponised a snake.”

Chapter Six

The Ostrich That Stole Everything

The girls finally found a path leading out of the jungle.

“WE’RE SAVED!” Mai cheered.

Then a giant ostrich sprinted out of the bushes at terrifying speed.

Before anyone could react…

SNATCH.

It stole Ariana’s backpack.

“And my snacks!” Melia gasped.

The ostrich zoomed away like a feathery rocket.

“AFTER IT!” Ariana yelled.

The chase was absolute chaos.

Mai accidentally ran into a bush.

Melia tripped over a log.

Ariana somehow ended up riding a wild boar for three seconds.

The ostrich zigzagged through the jungle carrying the backpack proudly.

Finally Mai spotted a huge muddy puddle ahead.

“I have an idea!”

“Your ideas scare me,” Ariana replied nervously.

Mai grabbed a giant fruit from the ground and launched it dramatically.

Direct hit.

SPLAT.

The ostrich slipped dramatically into the mud and slid straight into a bush upside down.

The girls grabbed the backpack back while the muddy ostrich sat there blinking in confusion.

Melia burst out laughing.

“It looks like an angry mop.”

Chapter Seven

The Cave Of Screaming Echoes

As sunset began glowing through the trees, the sisters found a huge cave.

Inside, crystals sparkled beautifully along the walls.

“It’s actually peaceful in here,” Melia whispered.

Then Mai sneezed.

“ACHOOOOOO!”

ACHOOOOOO! ACHOOOOOO! ACHOOOOOO!

The echo exploded through the cave so loudly that hundreds of bats suddenly burst from the ceiling.

The girls screamed.

The bats screamed.

Even the cave somehow sounded stressed.

Then from deeper inside the cave came a terrifying roar.

THUD.

THUD.

THUD.

Something enormous was coming.

Ariana slowly turned pale.

“…why is every animal here emotionally unstable?”

A gigantic gorilla suddenly charged toward them holding a pineapple.

Nobody understood why.

“RUN!” Melia screamed.

The girls sprinted through the cave while the gorilla chased them angrily.

Mai accidentally slid beneath its legs.

Melia threw bananas behind her like distractions.

Finally Ariana spotted the cave exit ahead.

The girls launched themselves outside just as the gorilla slipped on a banana peel and crashed loudly into a crystal wall.

Silence.

Then the gorilla quietly sat down and started eating the pineapple sadly.

Mai blinked.

“…I think we hurt his feelings.”

Chapter Eight

The Monkey Army Revenge

The sisters thought things could not get worse.

Then the karate monkey returned.

With backup.

Hundreds of tiny monkeys suddenly surrounded the girls from every direction.

All wearing tiny karate belts.

Ariana looked horrified.

“They formed an army.”

The leader monkey pointed dramatically at Ariana.

Then made punching motions.

“He wants revenge,” Melia whispered.

The monkeys charged.

Complete jungle chaos erupted.

Tiny karate kicks flew everywhere.

Mai got chased up a tree.

Melia got her hair pulled by three tiny monkeys at once.

Ariana tried negotiating peace using bananas.

It almost worked.

Then Mai accidentally dropped a coconut onto the leader monkey’s foot.

EEEEEEK.

The monkeys gasped dramatically.

The leader monkey folded his arms angrily.

Then suddenly…

Mai slowly offered him the very last marshmallow from her pocket.

The jungle went silent.

The monkey stared at the marshmallow.

Then carefully accepted it.

He took one bite.

His eyes widened.

Slowly, the leader monkey raised a tiny thumbs up.

Instantly the monkey army cheered wildly.

Melia blinked.

“…we just solved a jungle war with snacks.”

Chapter Nine

The Giant Jungle Slide

At the centre of the jungle stood a glowing waterfall.

Behind it shimmered the magical portal home.

“We made it!” Ariana shouted happily.

But the ground beneath them suddenly cracked.

The girls screamed as they slipped onto a giant muddy slope.

Down they went.

FASTER.

FASTER.

Mai spun past screaming nonsense.

Melia somehow overtook everyone while sliding backwards.

Ariana crashed through leaves holding onto a random watermelon.

The sisters flew through mud tunnels, vines, waterfalls, and giant flowers.

At one point Mai accidentally high fived a passing lemur.

Finally…

WHOOSHHHH.

The girls shot directly off the end of the slope and flew through the glowing portal.

SPLAT.

They landed back at the campsite face first in the grass.

Covered in mud.

Leaves.

Feathers.

And one confused frog.

Dad stared at them slowly.

“…rough walk?”

Chapter Ten

The Funniest Story Ever

That night the sisters sat wrapped in blankets beside the campfire.

Nobody wanted the adventure to end.

Even if the jungle had clearly tried to destroy them several times.

Mai giggled suddenly.

“I still can’t believe I fought a kangaroo.”

Melia laughed.

“And I rode a crocodile!”

Ariana grinned.

“You screamed every five seconds.”

“I WAS UNDER PRESSURE!” Mai yelled dramatically.

Soon all three girls were laughing so hard they could barely breathe.

The stars twinkled softly above them.

And somewhere far away in the jungle…

A monkey wearing a karate belt ate marshmallows proudly beside a confused crossed eyed hippo.

The sisters smiled at each other warmly.

Because adventures are not always about treasure.

Sometimes the best adventures become the funniest memories you laugh about forever.

Especially the completely ridiculous ones.
