One rainy afternoon, Mireya, Ariana, and Melia discover an old Pop Up Pirate game hidden inside Grandma’s cupboard.

But this isn’t an ordinary game.

The moment the pirate pops…

So do they.

Suddenly the girls find themselves aboard a magical pirate ship drifting across glittering seas, mischievous islands, stormy whirlpools, and treasure caves filled with secrets.

The only way home?

Finish the game before the pirate pops for the final time.

But with sneaky parrots, exploding pudding barrels, and one VERY dramatic pirate captain causing chaos across the ocean…

That might be harder than they think.

Chapter One

The Pirate That Wouldn’t Stay Down

Rain tapped softly against the windows while the cousins searched through Grandma’s old games cupboard.

“Boring.” Melia sighed dramatically.

“Super boring,” Ariana agreed, poking a puzzle box with her foot.

Then Mireya gasped.

“Wait… what’s THAT?”

At the very back sat a dusty green box with gold corners.

NEWIEPOO instantly launched himself across the room.

“OHHHHH PIRATES!”

He grabbed the box so fast dust exploded everywhere.

Melia coughed. Ariana sneezed. Mireya laughed quietly.

Across the lid were giant colourful letters:

POP UP PIRATE!

And underneath, written in tiny glowing words:

Only play if you’re ready for adventure.

The cousins froze.

“That definitely wasn’t there before,” Melia whispered.

Newiepoo grinned.

“OPEN IT.”

Big mistake.

The moment the pirate popped out of the barrel…

A blast of sparkling wind exploded through the room.

“AHHHHHHH!”

The floor vanished beneath them.

And suddenly…

They were falling through clouds.

Chapter Two

Captain Bubblebeard

The cousins landed in a pile of fishing nets.

“Ow,” Ariana muttered.

Newiepoo bounced straight back up.

“THAT WAS AMAZING!”

His shout blasted so loudly the ship rocked sideways.

A nearby seagull fainted.

Melia stared at him.

“YOU did that?”

Newiepoo blinked.

“…Oops.”

Before anyone could answer, heavy footsteps BOOMED across the deck.

A gigantic pirate appeared.

He had a beard tied into bubbles.

A jellyfish hat.

And one golden tooth shaped like a banana.

“I AM CAPTAIN BUBBLEBEARD!” he roared.

Then he slipped on a fish.

CRASH.

The cousins burst into laughter.

The captain stood up proudly like nothing happened.

“You have entered the Magical Seas Tournament!”

“What tournament?” Mireya asked nervously.

“The one where you survive long enough to leave.”

Everyone stopped smiling.

“…What?”

Captain Bubblebeard pointed dramatically at the glowing pirate barrel tied beside the ship.

“When the pirate pops for the final time, your adventure ends forever!”

Lightning flashed.

Then a tiny crab pinched his foot.

“OWWW!”

Chapter Three

The Island of Loud Birds

Their first stop was Bird Bananas Island.

Nobody knew why it was called that.

Until the birds arrived.

Thousands of colourful parrots swooped through the sky screaming:

“BANANAAAAAA!”

“WHY ARE THEY SO LOUD?” Melia yelled.

Newiepoo looked offended.

“They’re not THAT loud.”

Ariana raised an eyebrow.

One parrot landed on Newiepoo’s shoulder.

The bird stared at him.

Newiepoo stared back.

Then both screamed together.

“AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!”

A shockwave blasted across the island.

Palm trees bent sideways.

Coconuts exploded.

The parrots flew backwards in confusion.

Captain Bubblebeard fell into a bush.

Melia burst out laughing.

“You just sonic shouted an entire island!”

Newiepoo grinned proudly.

“I HAVE POWERS.”

Suddenly Mireya giggled.

Tiny glowing bubbles floated from her hands.

Pink ones. Blue ones. Sparkly gold ones.

The others stared.

Mireya blinked.

“…Uh oh.”

One bubble popped.

Instantly everyone nearby started laughing uncontrollably.

Even the parrots.

Chapter Four

The Treasure Map Disaster

Back aboard the ship, Ariana discovered an old treasure map.

“I think this leads to the Golden Lagoon,” she said.

Captain Bubblebeard gasped dramatically.

“The lagoon of infinite treasure?!”

Ariana smiled.

“I can help.”

Without thinking, she whispered:

“I wish the map could show us the real treasure path.”

The paper suddenly GLOWED.

Then floated into the air.

Lines stretched across the deck.

Mountains rose from nowhere.

Tiny jungle trees burst from barrels.

A REAL MINI ISLAND appeared on the ship.

“ARIANA!” everyone shouted.

“What?!” she squeaked.

Her illusion powers had brought the map to life.

Tiny monkeys began stealing everyone’s shoes.

Captain Bubblebeard screamed as a fake volcano erupted beside him.

Newiepoo laughed so hard he accidentally sonic shouted again.

The volcano exploded into glitter.

Chapter Five

Melia Moves Too Fast

The ship sailed directly into a storm.

Huge waves crashed around them.

Rain hammered the deck.

“We’re going to sink!” Mireya cried.

“No we’re not!” Captain Bubblebeard yelled confidently.

Then the mast snapped in half.

“…Maybe a little.”

Suddenly the ship tilted violently.

Ariana slipped.

Without thinking, Melia sprinted forward.

Everything around her slowed.

Rain froze midair.

Waves stopped moving.

Even Newiepoo’s scream stretched into slow motion.

Melia grabbed Ariana just before she hit the edge.

Then time snapped back.

CRASH.

Everyone stared at her.

“…Did you just run faster than time?” Ariana asked.

Melia blinked.

“…I think so?”

Captain Bubblebeard fainted dramatically.

Chapter Six

Mai Stops Everything

That night, the cousins explored the lower deck.

The ship creaked softly around them.

Newiepoo pointed at a glowing door.

“Ooooooo spooky.”

“Don’t open it,” Mireya whispered.

Newiepoo opened it instantly.

Inside sat hundreds of clocks ticking at different speeds.

Tick. Tick. Ticktickticktick.

Then one giant clock began spinning wildly.

The entire room shook.

The floor cracked.

Mai panicked.

And suddenly…

Everything froze.

The clocks stopped.

The waves outside stopped.

Even Captain Bubblebeard froze mid sneeze upstairs.

The cousins stared around silently.

Mai’s eyes widened.

“I DIDN’T MEAN TO!”

Nothing moved.

At all.

Then Mireya gently held her hand.

“It’s okay. Breathe.”

Mai slowly inhaled.

The clocks started ticking again.

The ship groaned back to life.

Captain Bubblebeard’s sneeze finally exploded upstairs.

“AAAAACHOOOOOO!”

Chapter Seven

The Pudding Cannon Battle

The next morning, enemy pirates attacked.

But not normal pirates.

PUDDING PIRATES.

They fired giant pudding cannonballs across the sea.

SPLAT.

Chocolate pudding hit Melia directly in the face.

“…This means war.”

Captain Bubblebeard pointed dramatically.

“DEFEND THE SHIP!”

Newiepoo climbed onto a barrel.

“SONIC SHOUT ATTACK!”

“NO WAIT,” Ariana yelled.

“AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!”

BOOOOOOM.

The blast launched pudding pirates straight into the ocean.

But it also launched Captain Bubblebeard into a hammock.

Mireya laughed so hard glowing bubbles filled the sky again.

The bubbles floated toward the enemy pirates.

One by one…

They started giggling.

Then laughing.

Then crying with laughter.

Nobody could fight anymore.

The pudding battle ended with everyone eating dessert together on deck.

Chapter Eight

The Cave of Wishes

The cousins finally reached the Golden Lagoon.

Hidden behind waterfalls sat a glowing cave.

Inside stood another pirate barrel.

This one shimmered gold.

A sign beside it read:

One final pop decides your fate.

Newiepoo reached for it immediately.

“NO!” everyone shouted.

Too late.

CLICK.

Nothing happened.

CLICK.

Still nothing.

CLICK.

The barrel shook violently.

Suddenly magical energy burst everywhere.

The cave filled with floating wishes.

Mountains of sweets. Flying dolphins. Rainbows made of popcorn.

Ariana’s powers were reacting to everyone’s imagination at once.

Chaos exploded through the cave.

Melia zoomed around trying to stop floating coconuts.

Mai accidentally froze a popcorn tornado.

Newiepoo screamed at a giant flying pudding whale.

Mireya laughed so hard sparkles burst across the ceiling like fireworks.

Chapter Nine

The Final Pop

The magical pirate barrel began glowing brighter.

Captain Bubblebeard looked serious for the first time.

“The game is ending.”

The cousins went quiet.

“But… we don’t want to leave yet,” Mireya whispered.

The captain smiled softly.

“That’s the tricky thing about adventures.”

The barrel slowly turned.

CLICK.

Everyone held their breath.

Then…

POP!

The pirate flew high into the air surrounded by golden light.

The entire world around them shimmered.

The sea faded. The ship faded. Even Captain Bubblebeard faded.

“WAIT!” Newiepoo shouted.

The captain grinned.

“Best crew I ever had.”

Then everything disappeared.

Chapter Ten

Back Home Again

The cousins crashed back into Grandma’s living room.

The old pirate game sat quietly on the carpet.

No glowing lights.

No magical storms.

Just silence.

For a moment nobody spoke.

Then Newiepoo whispered:

“…Can we do that again?”

Everyone burst into laughter.

Mireya noticed tiny sparkles floating from her fingertips.

Melia accidentally zoomed across the room for half a second.

Mai froze the television remote by mistake.

Ariana slowly smiled.

“The powers stayed…”

The cousins stared at each other in shock.

Then Grandma appeared in the doorway holding tea.

“Oh good,” she said casually.

“You made it back safely.”

Everyone froze.

Grandma winked.

And walked away.
